Hallowed Ground

A few changes for me that I’m excited to share.  My website has undergone a major overhaul.  While I really liked my original site, I wanted to get to something more clean and simple.  I feel this new site has accomplished this task.

I would like to give a big shout out to my wife for making all these changes.  The migration has not been without pain and she has been on top of it the whole way.  You can see more of her work at TechToolsOnline.

Second I would like to say how awesome Jon Stolarski is as a friend and designer.  My new logo came courtesy of Jon.  He rocked every aspect of the design, turn around time, and incredible patience.

And finally today’s image is from the Mogollon Rim area.  I had gotten up early one morning to grab some shots of the lake and as I made my way back to our campsite I couldn’t help but notice the early sun coming through the trees.  Sort of reminds me of Blair Witch (only during the day:).

Until next time…

  1. The site/logo look great, but more importantly, what a great image. I love the mood created by the black and white being set off by the light coming through the trees.

  2. The new design of the web-site being so clean and simple really highlights the images you are showing. The mist in the image takes this to the next level – nicely done.

  3. I love the new site, Chris, and this is a GREAT shot!! Love the drama and mystery you’ve pulled out of the fog-enshrouded scene with your b&w processing. Fan-flippin-tastic!
