Sunset at Joshua Tree Park

A sunset at Joshua Tree national park

Good morning everyone.  I hope your day goes well as we are one day closer to the weekend.  Woohoo!

Just a quick post today as time as been short lately (of course when is it not).  This image comes from my camping trip to the Joshua Tree national park.  No trip would be complete without at least one sunset picture.  We didn’t get quite the cloud cover we had hoped for that night, but the flip side of that was it made for some decent star shots later.

Every time I see these trees I can’t help but think they’ve been given a poodle cut. :)

Until next time…

Nice one, Chris. Definitely better than what I was able to get at sunset – I should have stayed with you guys!

Great silhouette and I love the little bit of color just peaking over the mountains.

At least one of us got a decent sunset shot. I went with the Canuck and we had jack.

Beautiful colours, and an excellent choice of foreground interest. This was one place we never got to visit when we toured about 20yrs ago. An earthquake ruled the Park out of bounds.
