Double Trouble

The AZ crew was out earlier this week chasing what might be our last storm for awhile.  We were all spread out at times capturing storms from different parts of the valley.  I started out on the east side and would eventually make my way south.

The image above was another one of those that hit fairly close.  After it struck you heard that crackling thunder sound as opposed to just a big boom type of sound.  A little scary but not quite as bad as what I encountered in my previous post.  Hopefully in October we will be revisited by some stormy weather.  But until then we are enjoying our sub triple digit temperatures.

Until next time…

  1. WOW, love these lightning shots Chris… amazing veins of light!

We don’t get a great deal of lightning here on NZ’s South Island – I sure would like to experience a similar atmosphere though… for a short period mind! 😉
