I’ve posted several shots in the past where the point of view is from the middle of a highway. Yes, I’m that stupid to stand in the middle of highway (even fog covered ones) to get the shot. Well the image above is what happens when you run out of time and have to pick your tripod & camera up and run like hell. I was standing in the middle of the Mill Avenue Bridge trying to get one of those “road” perspectives when a car from behind forced to me abandon my shot. The wavy lights are the bridge lights being tossed around inside my camera as the exposure was winding down. Good thing for me Jon Stolarski had my back on this one.
If you look in the lower right you can make out a heart, which was my heart skipping a beat.

I’m glad you are safe, but man this is a great abstract. The lines just give you so much to follow around and look at, while finding some of the patterns is like a game in itself. Scary way to get the shot, but it turned out pretty cool.
HA, this is ripe my friend! What a great shot, but the story behind it is just amazing. I am SO glad you’re OK, first and foremost, man we can’t be losing you my friend… but this made for a great anecdotal story. Awesome work, my friend. Keep those sneakers cinched tight.

I’ll take this printed big on canvas! I know that when I have a camera in front of my face I’m much more prone to taking risks. This is light painting at its best – you couldn’t have created it, if you tried! Wonderful shot. Stay safe . . . at least for a little while 🙂
